Featured event: Keynote by Aphrodite D, School of Zines
we are thrilled to welcome Aphrodite D., founder of School of Zines and Illographo Press, as our keynote speaker. Aphrodite is a Filipina artist, designer, illustrator, printer and lifelong zinester whose practice is deeply rooted in the possibilities of DIY publishing and independent creative culture.

programme
across two days and multiple global time zones, more than 40 speakers will share how & why they make zines — what they have learned and what they create. the symposium will open on the morning of thursday october 22nd (11am UTC+11 time, or in Sydney, Australia) and cycle around the world, before concluding on friday october 23rd (from 7-9pm Sydney time or UTC+11). each individual session will feature a curated collection of 4 or 5 x 15-minute talks and group q&a/discussion. please come along in your timezone and celebrate all things zines!
